Hosidius favor provides various benefits, and there are numerous ways to gain this favor, such as Ploughing Fields, Making Fertilizers, Completing Quests, Cooking food for the army, and Farming Grapes. Upon gaining a specific percentage of favor, you’ll get access to the main kitchen that provides 5% less chance you to burn food, along with access to the Woodcutting Guild, Spirit Tree Patch, and Farming Guild. Ploughing Fields
The one and only option available to players in the very beginning of this hosidius favor guide is Ploughing Fields. These fields are located south of the town square, and you’ll have to plough the soil back and forth to gain favor here. The process is automatic, but at times the plough might end up breaking, so that’s when you have to use a hammer to fix it. This also helps you gain additional Farming experience. You can find a plough, just south-east of Hosidius (south-west of the vinery and north-west of the Tithe Farm Minigame). An easier way to get there is using a Games Necklace to teleport to the Woodcutting guild, and then head east towards the city’s altar. From there, simply change your direction to the northeast and you’ll reach the desired location.
Making Sulphurous Fertilizers
Once you’ve gained 5% Hosidius favor, you can move onto the next method which is making Sulphurous Fertilizers. For this method, you’ll need Salpetre and Regular Compost. Saltpetre can be found east of the Woodcutting Guild, or you can choose to purchase it from other players. You will need a spade to dig the Saltpetre, and the area where the product is found can be tracked through Konoo (because he is always nearby the newly spawned area). If case you don’t have a spade, you can trade him and obtain one.
Once you have both the products, combine them and take the resulting item to the Clerk who wanders nearby the area of the Saltpetre (Tip: Building) to gain favor. It will take about 950 bucks to reach 100% favor from 5% if you’re using this method all the way. It’ll cost you about 31,350 Runescape Gold, but you can save money by purchasing the compost packs from the Farming shops, which then sums up to 24,750 OSRS GP altogether.
The Depths of Despair Quest
This quest can be started once you’ve gained 20% Hosidius favor. However, to start this quest, you’ll need to complete the quest Client of Kourend and have at least 18 Agility. Completing this quest will reward you with a 10% favor. Thus, making it a good way to achieve 100% swiftly.
The Mess Hall
Once you’re at 45% Hosidius favor, you can head to the Mess Hall. Here you’ll have to cook food for the Shayzien Army Soldiers who will demand various ingredients, which will be displayed on your screen. The food items can be either of the following; Pineapple Pizza, Stew, or Meat Pie, and you’ll need a specific cooking level to make the dish. Meat Pie requires level 20 Cooking, Stew requires level 25 Cooking, and Pineapple Pizza requires 65 Cooking. Once the buffet is properly served, you will also gain a good amount of cooking experience.
Grape Seeds
Mess Hall method can be used to gain 65% Hosidius favor, and after that, you can move onto a more reliable way known as Farming Grapes. At 65%, you will gain access to the vinery where Grape can be farmed using Saltpetre and Grape Seeds on a vine patch. You will need level 36 in Farming, and every grape seed that you successfully plant will grant you 0.8% Hosidius favor.
Benefits
At 15% osrs Hosidius favor, you will gain the ability to steal fruits from the stall located near the Logava Gricoller’s Cooking Supplies. At 35%, you will be able to plant Spirit Saplings. At 50%, you will gain the ability to protect the flower patches and herb patches from being diseased. At 60%, you will gain access to the Farming Guild (requirement is level 45 Farming). At 75%, you will gain access to the Woodcutting Guild (requirement is level 60 Woodcutting).
Now, at 100% osrs Hosidius favor, you can start taking part in the Tithe Farm Minigame with a 34 Farming level requirement. The area is located in the eastern part of Hosidius. Similarly, you will be able to use the Main Kitchen near the Mess Hall, and there’s a small bank chest in the nearby building, which will help you train your skill swiftly without much trouble. Also, there’s a 5% increased chance of not burning your food if you use the range there.
